I Dropped the Soap

Often I will write something and stand by it. Sometimes though, I re-read my post and upon discovery of new information need to change it. Such is the case with my GITMO post. While I do believe that President Obama could direct the Department of Justice to address prison conditions in the US, I can no longer substantiate my claim that conditions at State and Federal prisons are worst than GITMO. There are just too many unanswered questions and upon reviewing my original source, I can't stand by it. Please accept my apologies for this. I hope to post a new look at GITMO in the near future. Thanks for reading.

    This probably would make more sense if you did not remove your earlier post. Also, what are some of these unanswered questions and what was your original source and what exactly was wrong with it (e.g. was it untrustworthy due to factual errors, was it written by someone with a bias or conflict of interest, etc.).

    Sorry it has taken me so long to get back. Work has been really busy! Whether or not to leave or remove the earlier post was a tough decision for me. On one hand, this current post would make a lot more sense, but on the other hand, I don't want to keep something up if I have come upon new information that alters my views. As for your other question, I will get back shortly.
